Preserving the Tibetan Bön Spiritual Tradition
Yeru Bon Center is open to everyone. Whether you are experienced with meditation or have never meditated, are all welcome. We offer weekly practice groups on Tuesday nights in Minneapolis and Los Angeles. These groups start with a half an hour of guided meditation followed by a dharma talk and discussion.
Those new to meditation may want to consider registering for the Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation course. Yeru Bön Center is a nonprofit, spiritual organization that supports the ancient Tibetan Yungdrung Bön teachings and culture. Our mission is to provide spiritual instruction, and health and wellness through the Tibetan Bön teachings. Yeru Bön Center relies heavily on donations from supporters and sponsors.
In addition to our Minneapolis and Los Angeles centers, Yeru offers teachings in Santa Fe, Tucson, New York, and other locations around the United States. Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche also teaches at his other centers around the world.
Yeru Bon Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All charitable donations made to Yeru Bon Center are tax deductible as allowed by law.

We offer weekly meditation practices for anyone interested in learning about the Ancient Yungdrung Bön Meditation practices for healing, inner peace and calm and anyone who would like to deepend their knowledge or to practice what they learned from teachings and workshops.
Yeru Bon Center is a volunteer-run organization. The center is always available to anyone who would like to come in to meditate or would like information regarding Yungdrung Bön or meditation.
Yeru Los Angeles
Established in 2002, Yeru Bön Center Los Angeles is a spiritual community supporting the teachings and practice of the ancient Tibetan Bön wisdom tradition in the United States and the Western Hemisphere.
Yeru Los Angeles was founded by Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche and Barbara Bradshaw for the purpose of making these precious teachings of compassion, wisdom and healing known as Yungdrung Bön – the Everlasting Bön – available to us through an unbroken line of teachers. This lineage goes back 18,000 years to Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche, the Enlightened One who originally brought these teachings to Tibet from Olmo Lung Ring and the ancient kingdom of Zhang Zhung.
Our teachers present us with many opportunities for weekend teachings, retreats and weekly practice of Sutra, Tantra and Dzogchen. We invite everyone to join us for weekly meditation practice Tuesday nights at 7pm. All are welcome.
Rinpoche invites all Bon Practioners to come to the Yeru Retreat Center for a private retreat.

Yeru Retreat Center is a private, beautiful lakeshore cabin resort. It welcomes its guests with a calm, refreshing, and spiritual energy.
Bön teaches us about nature and balance. Balance for our environment, as well as our Mind, Body and Spirit. Yeru Retreat Center offers the sound of nature from our woods and lake. It offers peace and tranquility for all who come. Yungdrung Bön is known as the most ancient unbroken spiritual tradition. Yeru Retreat Center is the perfect place to allow our Bon monks and teachers to teach the authentic teachings of Bön to their students here in the Western world.
During break times, early morning or evening hours, feel free to take one of the canoes or row boats out on the lake, take a swim or relax on the beach area. Watch for the eagles as they fly by to greet us. You will hear the sounds of the owls as they sing for us, and the wood peckers tapping at the trees. You will see and hear the sounds of the loons, the swans and more of Minnesota’s amazing nature. Perhaps you might get lucky to see a northern lights display. It will be a harmonizing environment for all Yungdrung Bön teachings.

We are so excited as the plans for our temple are in its final working design. We feel so fortunate to have a devoted Bonpo architect design an amazing temple which will blend into the natural resources of Yeru Retreat Center which is zoned as a protected lake and area. It is being designed to house approximately 200 people, including a formal altar and throne. Overlooking Garuda Lake and nestled within the forest, Yeru Retreat Center has been designed to welcome all visitors to enjoy the natural wilderness. We are home to eagles, foxes, loons, deer, and tons of other wildlife. Hours from Minneapolis and accessible by three airports.
