Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche’s Dzogchen teaching of:

Dru Gyalwe Chag Trid

November 8th -10th, 2024
Santa Fe, New Mexico
In person or Via Zoom

Join Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for his Dzogchen teaching of Dru Gyalwe Chag Trid.

This teaching will be a powerful pith instruction teaching based on the direct experience of the great yogi Dru Chen Gyalwa Yungdrung from the Dru Lineage, also known as the 10th Thenpa from the Eighteen Thenpa of Yeru (Yeru Thenpa Cho Gyaed).

This special and highly regarded Dzogchen teaching, part of Zhang Khung Nyen Gyud, was traditionally taught one-to-one until it was written down. Even today, it is carefully considered whether to share this teaching widely.

The teaching consists of four main parts:

  1. Chi Tawa Chi Chod: The outer general view of meditation.
  2. Nang Menag Martrit: Inner direct pith instruction.
  3. Sangwa Rigpa Cher Thong: Secretly seeing Rigpa face to face.
  4. Yangsang Nelug Phug Chod: Accomplishing the ultimate realization of nature as it is.

The first part, Chi Tawa Chi Chod, has four sub-parts:

  • Cleansing karma and awakening.
  • Becoming aware and grounding to the base.
  • Discovery of realization.
  • Dedication.

Rinpoche will focus on the above teaching, introducing students to an awareness and awakening of their true nature. It will continue every year for three to four years until the teachings are fully completed according to Dzogchen principles and the Bon tradition.

There will also be time for Q&A and practice sessions.

Rinpoche’s Santa Fe teachings have always been wonderful. Our host is very inviting and is a long time Bon practitioner. The location is very comfortable and easy to find.
