Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche’s

Attaining “The Great Perfection” of Yungdrung Bön

December 6th, – 8th, 2019
Yeru Bön Center
Minnetonka, MN 55345

Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche

Dzogchen, the ”Great Perfection,” is the highest way of the Nine Ways of Bön. There are three main methods of Bön, known as Do (Sutra), Ngag (Tantra) and Sem (Dzogchen). Dzogchen is the most direct of these three methods.

Dzogchen has been handed down in unbroken lineages, from Kuntu Sang Po through many great masters and Yogis, to us today. Many of these great masters achieved the state of enlightenment and the body of light by practicing Dzogchen.

Ultimately, Dzogchen teachings guide us to realize the truth of all phenomena and how everything is simply a reflection of our own true nature of mind. When we learn how to “let it be as it is,” then everything simply liberates itself from within. For this reason, Dzogchen is also known as the path of self-liberation (Drol Lam).

Dzogchen introduces us to the true nature of our mind. Dzogchen teaches us the reality of all existing phenomenon, including ourselves, who we are, and the true state of our ultimate being.

Although it is the simplest and most direct method, it is important to have instructions from an experienced master.

During this weekend retreat, Rinpoche will teach Dzogchen’s view of meditation and how to contemplate by understanding the Dzogchen view. Deepening the realization of it, naturally we can remove our internal poisons, release negative emotions, and attain the ultimate state of Dzogchen

To prepare for this teaching event, it is recommended you purchase Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche’s book, The Inner Mirror.

This teaching is a three-part series, one teaching each year followed with an online course to solidify what you learned and to prepare you for the next Dzogchen teaching.
