Gratitude Tenshug Ceremony for His Holiness the 33rd sMenri Trinzin
To all my students and friends worldwide, and all students, friends and devotees of HH the 33rd sMenri Trizin, the Supreme Spiritual Leader of worldwide Yungdrung Bön, the native religion of Tibet:
As many of you know, the Gratitude Tenshug Organizing Committee worked for nearly two years to make an offering of “Gratitude Tenshug Ceremonies” to H.H. sMenri Trizin Rinpoche and H.E. Yongzin Rinpoche in April 2016. Due to His Holiness’ health reasons, the portion of the ceremony for His Holiness was postponed.
There is good news now. The Gratitude Tenshug ceremonies for HH sMenri Trizin will take place three days in row, from 31st October through 2nd November, 2016 at sMenri Monastery, Dolanji in north India, the Chief Mother Monastery of Yungdrung Bön Tradition.
Therefore, I am advising and encouraging to all of you, to please join in this ceremony, by practicing from 31-October till 2nd November 2016. If you can practice with a group in your area, please do so, or practice individually. If it is difficult to manage practicing on all three days, then make sure to practice on 1st November, which is the main actual Long Life Mandala Offering Ceremonies of the Gratitude Tenshug. This is a great opportunity to accumulate merit by joining any virtuous deeds and dedications to HH sMenri Trizin Rinpoche’s Long Life and Good Health.
What to Pray and Practice:
1. HH sMenri Tri Zin Rinpoche’s Long Life Prayer, as much as possible.
2. Tsedrub Nyen Pa, the Long Life mantra recitation: “So drum Ah kar Mu la, Ting Nam Woed Dhu Mu Ye Tse Ni Za”.
3. Before ending the session, sit in meditation and wish for health and long life for H.H.
4. Then with genuine thought recite the Dedication prayer, as you all know it.
5. If your time dos not allow to join in prayer and practice, don’t worry. You could choose any thing that you could do and dedicate for the same reason. Examples are: make a commitment to do it, if can’t do it on those days or only one day, then on 1st November, which is the main day; or commit not make any one angry, rather think to do something good and positive, that may be helpful to others, and then dedicate it to H.H. for his Health and Long Life.

Thank you in advance for listening and doing prayers and practice for His Holiness’ long life and good health.
I will join with you all on those days and dedicate all for His Holiness.
You all are in my thoughts and heart.
With blessings,
Your Rinpoche

The Gratitude Tenshug Committee has done an amazing job for the past two years to bring awareness of our Bon Leaders and their commitment in Bon and to all sentient beings. As you can imagine, these ceremonies require a lot of work, as well as expenses for statutes, offerings, etc.
The Gratitude Tenshug Committee would be honored if you would make a financial contribution to help cover the expenses of both ceremonies – His Eminence’s ceremony last year, and His Holiness Long Life Ceremony this next week.
Your donation will go directly to the Gratitude Tenshug Committee for the Long Life Ceremonies for both His Holiness, 33rd Menri Trinzin and His Eminence Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche
