Yeru Bön Center invites you to join Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche and Geshe Yeshe Gyalwa, Yeru Bön Center’s Resident Lama, for an extraordinary eight-week online journey into the heart of the Yungdrung Bön Daily Prayers.
The course will begin with a special Monday-morning teaching with Rinpoche and Geshe-la, introducing students to the course and explaining why the Daily Prayers are such an essential part of Yungdrung Bön practice.
More Than Reciting Words
This course is not simply about memorizing or reciting prayers. It is an opportunity to understand what you are saying, why each prayer is practiced, the intention and visualization it carries, and how its wisdom can influence the way you think, practice, and live.
During each of the eight weeks, students will focus deeply on one prayer. Every weekly lesson contains six carefully prepared parts, designed to be explored and practiced throughout the week. You may move through these six parts at your own pace, allowing the teachings to fit naturally into your daily schedule.
Through these lessons, you will discover:
- A deeper meaning and purpose of each prayer
- How and when the prayer is traditionally practiced
- Tibetan pronunciation and guided recitation
- The intention and visualization associated with the prayers
- History of the remarkable lineage Bön masters who preserved and transmitted it
- The heart felt sacrifices our Bon Masters endured to be sure the texts and knowledge of Bon were protected and shared throughout the world.
- How the prayer’s wisdom can be brought into your everyday life
Weekly Teachings with Geshe-la
After working through the weekly lessons, students will join Geshe Yeshe Gyalwa each Monday morning for further teaching, guided recitation, clarification, and a deeper exploration of the prayer.
Every Monday morning session will be recorded and made available to registered students. If you cannot attend live, you will still be able to receive the teaching and return to it as often as needed.
Students will also have access to Geshe-la’s email, providing an opportunity to submit questions that arise while studying and practicing the Daily Prayers.
Study Within a Living Community
Although this is an online course, you can study alone or with other registered students taking this course.
Students will have access to a private course group chat, where you can connect with fellow practitioners, discuss the weekly prayer, share discoveries, ask for practice partners, and arrange times to recite and practice together.
This shared experience helps create a strong and supportive spiritual community—one in which students encourage one another, remain connected, and deepen their practice together.
Throughout the live course, students will be asked to check in with the group and let us know that they are actively participating and studying. These check-ins are not about being perfect or moving at the same speed as everyone else. They are a way to remain connected, engaged, and supported while progressing through each week’s lesson at your own pace.

The Daily Prayers are an especially precious and important teaching within Yungdrung Bön. To honor your commitment, students who remain active and engaged throughout the eight-week live course will receive a special altar item for their personal altar at the conclusion of the program.
