This spring, Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche welcomes students to come to the Yeru Retreat Center for a special teaching.
Nyima Rinpoche will give pith instructions according to Kunsang Lame Zhallung on the Middle Path view, Maha Mudra, and Dzogchen, according to the well-known Drub Chen (Yogi) Nyima Tsultrim Rinpoche.
The retreat will cover the main view of “Wuma Pa” (Middle Path); the view of Chag Chen (Maha Mudra); and the view according to Bon Dzogchen. Rinpoche will discuss the differences in types of meditation, including:
- Different levels of Meditation, such as Thun-Gom, Ngang-Gom and Long-Gom.
This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to learn about these important types of meditation and meditation view. During this retreat, students will be able to improve their understanding and practice meditation.
Place: Yeru Retreat Center in Northern Minnesota.
This is the perfect time and place. Spring is New Beginnings! The snow should be melted, Garuda Lake will be awakening from a long winter, and the sounds of nyenpas and prayers will cover Garuda Lake and the Yeru Retreat Center.
It’s a good idea to reserve your spot early to ensure your housing inside of the Yeru Retreat Center. But you can also reserve local places. (VRBO, AirBnB, Hotels) (We are 8 miles outside of the small town of Emily, MN, you can research places to stay)
Fee: In person fee includes: Retreat, Housing, Meals (18 meals)

- Registration after January 15th, 2023 $900.00
- Commuter Registration $500.00
- Zoom Registration $250.00
Students are welcome to come after noon (12:00 p.m.), on April 12th. Please arrive before 9:00 p.m. If you are flying in: The retreat center is 2.5 hours from Minneapolis airport. 2 hours from Duluth Airport and 45 minutes from Brainerd Regional Airport – With no traffic and stopping.
Everyone is welcome to spend the night of April 17th. Then you will not miss any of Rinpoche’s teachings which will end at 5:00 p.m.
Meals: We cater to all diets and restrictions. You will be asked about your dietary preferences.
