From the Dzogchen Kusum Rangshar
Self-Arising Of The Three Enlightened Bodies

The Practice of Tum Mo

Taught by Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche

Via Zoom
August 6-8th, 2021
NOTE: This teaching has changed to ZOOM ONLY. This retreat will not be given in-person.

The Kusum Rangshar, or “Self-Arising of the Three Enlightened Bodies,” is one of the most important Dzogchen texts within the Bon tradition.

Tum Mo is a Dzogchen practice that will support advancing our development of our natural balance of masculine and feminine wisdom power.

Tum Mo is a complex energy practice that focuses on much more than simple production of heat. Tum Mo practice can ultimately free us from suffering, all negative karmas, and from cyclic existence.

Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche believes that, for students to fully understand the important Tum Mo practice, they must understand the foundations underlying Tum Mo.

In a four-part series of teachings, Rinpoche will take us deep into the Kusum Ragshar text so we can gain the foundational understanding.  From  there he will teach us the complex Tum Mo practice.

Part 1

In Part One,  Rinpoche will teach the details corresponding to the five energy points (Five Chakras) and Five basic Lungs (Tsa We Lung Nga). We will learn about the Tsa, Lung  and  Thigle (Tsalungthig Sum):

  • Tsa  ~ Root Channels
  • Lung ~ Wind
  • Thigle ~  Sphere of Pure Light

Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche’s goal for Part One is to teach us the importance of the essence of Tsalunthig Sum (our internal Channels, Wind and Sphere of Light) and to implement it in practice. This will provide the foundation for a deeper understanding of Tum Mo.
