of the Dzogchen Kusum Rangshar
The Self-Arising of The Three Enlightened Bodies
By Shardza Rinpoche
Part 4
December 8th, – 10th, 2023
Zoom or In Person at Yeru Retreat Center
This part 4 teaching is dedicated to the practice of Tum Mo.
The Kusum Rangshar, or “Self-Arising of the Three Enlightened Bodies,” is one of the most important Dzogchen practices within the Bon tradition.
Tum Mo is a Dzogchen practice which develops our natural feminine wisdom energy that is within you.
Tum Mo is a complex energy practice that focuses on much more than simple production of heat. Tum Mo practice can ultimately free us from suffering, all negative karmas, and from cyclic suffering.
Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche believes that, for students to fully understand the important Tum Mo practice, they must understand the foundations underlying Tum Mo.
We have completed three of the four teachings in this series and Rinpoche has taken us deep into the Kusum Rangshar text so we can have the foundational understanding. Now he prepares to teach us the actual practice of Tum Mo. This teaching will also consist of reviews from the previous teachings, questions, and answers.
Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche has taught part 1,2 and 3. This will be the final teaching of this series.
We have learned importance of the essence of Tsalunthig Sum (our internal Channels, Wind and Sphere of Light) and to implement it in practice. The five energy points (Five Chakras) and Five basic lungs (Tsa We Lung Nga). The practice to train the channels and the Three specific preliminaries Khyad pag gyi Ngon Dro Sum.
We are ready to receive part four of this Tum Mo practice.
