Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche’s
Yum Chen Sherab Chamma &
The Essence of the Khadros
November 1–7, 2026
Montezuma, Costa Rica
In Person or Via Zoom
There are moments in life when we feel called to step away from our daily routines and reconnect with something deeper within ourselves.
Perhaps you are seeking greater peace in a busy world.
Perhaps you are navigating a period of change, uncertainty, illness, loss, or personal growth.
Perhaps you simply feel there is more to discover about yourself and the life you are living.
We warmly invite you to join internationally respected Tibetan teacher Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche, senior monk and scholar of sMenri Monastery, for a unique week devoted to healing, wisdom, compassion, and spiritual transformation in the beautiful setting of Montezuma, Costa Rica.
The teachings come from the ancient Yungdrung Bön tradition of Tibet, a spiritual tradition that has guided practitioners for thousands of years through practices that cultivate compassion, inner peace, well-being, respect for nature, and care for all living beings. At its heart, Yungdrung Bön teaches that true well-being arises when we nurture the harmony of mind, body, and spirit. Through self-awareness, compassion, wisdom, and connection to the natural world, we discover a deeper sense of balance, purpose, and fulfillment in our lives.
Whether you come from a spiritual background, another faith tradition, or simply have a sincere interest in personal growth, healing, and well-being, these teachings offer practical wisdom that can be applied to everyday life.
Yum Chen Sherab Chamma
Inner Circle of Five Chammas — Part 3
The Loving Mother of Wisdom, Compassion, and Protection
During this retreat, Rinpoche will continue his teachings on The Five Inner Circles of Sherab Chamma, presenting Part 3 of this profound and transformative series.
Sherab Chamma, often known as the Loving Mother of Wisdom and Compassion, represents the nurturing qualities that help us navigate life’s challenges with courage, kindness, wisdom, and understanding. For centuries, practitioners have turned to Sherab Chamma during times of fear, uncertainty, illness, grief, and emotional struggle.
Her teachings remind us that even during our most difficult moments, we can cultivate inner peace, resilience, wisdom, compassion, and healing.
Many students find that the practice of Sherab Chamma helps them:
- Develop greater emotional balance and inner peace
- Cultivate compassion for themselves and others
- Navigate fear, stress, and uncertainty with greater confidence
- Strengthen their connection to healing and personal growth
- Develop greater wisdom in daily life
- Deepen their spiritual understanding and well-being
While this teaching is Part 3 of an ongoing series, new participants are warmly welcome and will not feel lost or left behind. Rinpoche is a gifted teacher who presents the teachings in a way that allows both new and returning students to benefit from the wisdom and practices being shared.
Then…
The Essence of the Khadros
Part Two
In addition to the teachings on Sherab Chamma, Rinpoche will continue his teachings on The Essence of the Khadros, presenting Part 2 of this extraordinary series.
The Khadros, often referred to as Dakinis, are sacred manifestations of enlightened feminine wisdom. They symbolize qualities that are deeply needed in our modern world: wisdom, intuition, compassion, courage, transformation, creativity, and enlightened action.
The teachings of the Khadros invite us to examine how we live our daily lives. They encourage us to cultivate awareness, authenticity, confidence, compassion, and wisdom in our relationships, work, health, and spiritual journey.
As we learn about the Khadros, we discover that spiritual transformation is not something that happens only during meditation or retreat. It is expressed through how we live, how we treat others, how we respond to challenges, and how we cultivate wisdom in everyday life.
Like the Sherab Chamma teachings, The Essence of the Khadros Part 2 is open to everyone, including those who are attending for the first time.
For students who would like a more complete understanding of these ongoing teachings, recordings and materials from the previous sessions are available for purchase. These recordings provide an excellent foundation and allow participants to study at their own pace before or after the retreat.
We encourage you not to let the words “Part 3” or “Part 2” discourage you. Each teaching stands beautifully on its own while also contributing to a deeper understanding of healing, wisdom, compassion, protection, spiritual growth, and the sacred feminine qualities embodied by Sherab Chamma and the Khadros.

Retreat Location – Amor de Mar, Montezuma, Costa Rica
This special retreat will be held in beautiful Montezuma, Costa Rica, at the charming oceanfront Amor de Mar Hotel.
Amor de Mar is owned by a longtime Bön practitioner and wonderful host who has warmly welcomed our community over the years. Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the lush Costa Rican jungle, the hotel provides a peaceful and inspiring environment that perfectly supports practice, contemplation, and spiritual growth.
The front of the property opens to breathtaking ocean views, while the back of the hotel leads to a beautiful jungle trail that winds its way to the spectacular Montezuma Waterfall. The village of Montezuma, with its restaurants, cafés, shops, and local culture, is only a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Many students who attended previous retreats shared that the environment itself became part of their practice. The combination of ocean breezes, jungle sounds, waterfalls, wildlife, and natural beauty created a sense of peace and clarity that allowed the teachings to settle deeply into their hearts.
