One-year Anniversary of the Parinirvana of His Eminence Yongdzin Rinpoche
As we come to the one-year anniversary of the Parinirvana of His Eminence Yongdzin Rinpoche, we are reminded of the profound impact he had on the Yungdrung Bön tradition and on the lives of countless students around the world. We reflect with deep gratitude on his unwavering devotion to preserving and sharing the teachings, his extraordinary wisdom, and his endless kindness, compassion, and generosity toward all beings.
Tomorrow, June 1st, Yeru Bön Center and Geshe Yeshe Gyalwa will offer prayers and dedications in honor of His Eminence Yongdzin Rinpoche.
Throughout the day, Geshe Yeshe Gyalwa will devote himself to prayer and practice, including Monlam aspiration prayers and butter lamp offerings, honoring the extraordinary life, wisdom, compassion, and immeasurable contributions that Yongdzin Rinpoche made to the Yungdrung Bön tradition and to practitioners throughout the world.
All virtue, merit, prayers, and positive intentions generated through these practices will be dedicated to His Eminence, with gratitude for the profound teachings, guidance, and blessings he shared throughout his life. We also dedicate these prayers to the continued flourishing of the Yungdrung Bön teachings, the well-being of all practitioners, and the benefit of all sentient beings.
